OMAHA, Neb. -- An Omaha teenager who was injured in a car crash on April 23 has died.

Jeneca Purl, 17, died Thursday morning, according to family.

She and Brittany Sundberg, 18, were thrown from a pickup truck on 105th Street near Forrest Avenue. Sundberg was treated at an Omaha hospital and has been released. Purl, who was driving, hit her head on the pavement.
