ROUND ROCK - A Round Rock man is dead after a collision early Saturday on I-35.
Aubrey Clayton Fariss, 19, apparently drifted onto the shoulder, overcorrected, and lost control of his pickup, according to authorities.
The truck struck a light pole, crossed the median, and rolled, police said. They also noted that Fariss, who was not buckled up, was ejected from the cab during the accident.
Fariss died at Brackenridge Hospital.
No passengers or other vehicles were involved, and authorities said they do not think alcohol played a role
