Saige Bowman, 15 -- Car Accident

A teenage girl died in a car wreck in Henry County last night. State police say 15-year-old Saige Bowman of Bassett was riding in a car driven by a 17-year-old girl.

Police say their Geo Prizm was headed south on Mountain Valley Road, when the driver lost control on a sharp curve and hit an oncoming Toyota.

Bowman died at the scene. The unidentified 17-year-old was taken to Carilion-Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

So was the driver of the Toyota, 36-year-old Zane Dawson of Axton
