Shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday, police were called to the Citadel Apartments, 1520 University Blvd. N.E.

Friends of 22-year-old Jacob Duncan discovered his body in an apartment after not hearing from him in a week, Hoffman said.

"There was possible trauma to the side of the head," she said.

Duncan's death is considered a suspicious unattended death pending further investigation, Hoffman said.
